| We train with a small group of friends known as "The Misfits". The Misfits get together usually on Sundays meeting somewhere between Cleveland and Sandusky in just about any open park we can find! We were/are just normal dog loving people plodding along through our traditional training for years even though it never felt 100% right to us. We started exploring other methods and ideas when it came to dog training and being that we're primarily focused on the Sport of Schutzhund we kept coming back to the Ivan Balabanov method of dog training. In our opinion, Ivan's teachings of dog psychology and behavioral understandings helps build a loving and lasting working relationship which not only bonds handler to dog it also translates into a fluid team performance on the competition field. Ivan's methods transcend all breeds and have proven themselves worldwide in the canine dog sports world and we look forward to continuing the tradition with our lil band of Misfits!
